What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in hemp and cannabis, also known as a cannabinoid. It’s the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in the plant and is thought to have a wealth of benefits. We sell CBD as a food supplement, so we do not make any medicinal claims.
How does CBD work?
Our bodies also produce cannabinoids (called endocannabinoids) that interact with our endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS is responsible for controlling balance in our bodies (known as homeostasis), suggesting it may be involved in regulating physiological and cognitive processes, appetite, mood, pain-sensation, sleep and memory. When ingested, CBD is able to interact with and effect our endocannabinoid system.
Is CBD Safe?
Yes, hemp is considered very safe. The plant used to produce our premium oil is grown on certified organic farms in the Baltic region of Europe, manufactured in a SALSA approved facility and independently lab tested to ensure it is packed with CBD and below the legal level of THC allowed in the UK and Europe. This means we can guarantee that our full spectrum CBD oil is pure, full of all the beneficial phytocannabinoids, minerals, fatty acids and vitamins you want and without any chemicals or pesticides that you don’t.
Will CBD give me a 'high'?
CBD on its own does not get you high and has no psychoactive effects. The reason that a lot of people mistakenly think it does, is because CBD is a cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. However, it's not the only cannabinoid in there.
There are hundreds of cannabinoids in the cannabis plant, including tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The high that has associated with cannabis in general, is actually caused by THC. Our oil contains less than legal limit allowed in the UK and this is not enough to produce any psychoactive effects.
Is CBD Legal?
Yes, CBD is legal in the UK, and in many countries around the world. In the UK, CBD products sold for a medical purpose must now be licensed. Our products are sold as food supplements, and as such we make no medical claims about their performance.
Will the CBD show up in a drugs test?
No. CBD is not an illegal substance, so it is does not form any part of a drugs test.
Are your products organic?
Yes, all our plants are grown in certified organic farms within the Baltic region. We only use family-run farms that understand the needs and requirements we have for organic cultivation.
What is THC?
THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive compound that produces a ‘high’ when consumed. It is cultivated within the Marijuana plant, and whilst it does occur in other strains of the Cannabis Sativa plant, it is a legal substance providing it contains less than legal limit allowed in the UK. Our oil contains under the legal maximum required amount of THC.

The entourage effect describes the reaction that occurs when all the compounds of the cannabis plant work together in the body which results in a synergistic effect that makes them more effective than when any of the components are taken alone.
Why is full-spectrum important?
The CBD cannabinoid is only one of over one hundred cannabinoids in the cannabis plant. Full-spectrum CBD includes all the cannabinoids found within the cannabis plant. These cannabinoids work together with the CBD cannabinoid to benefit your body in ways that CBD isolate alone cannot. Full-spectrum CBD also contains all the vitamins, minerals and omega-3s that occur from within hemp plant.
What is the difference between Cannabis, Hemp and Marijuana?
